However, I’m also extremely excited. New challenges motivate me, and I’m already revved up for this one. It’s been less than a week since I’ve made it official, and I’ve already read The Art of Coaching, bought Student Centered Coaching: A Guide for K-8 Coaches and Principals, and hijacked tons of resources from online.
But I’m also really optimistic. At my school alone there are going to be four new math teachers. There’s so much opportunity to make a difference beyond just my singular classroom, even just by successfully working with one or two teachers.
W: So far in my research, I have found some really great blogs for instructional coaching. I hope that by chronicling my experiences moving from classroom into coaching that I can provide the same insight and resources to others who will make similar transitions in the future.
I start in a few weeks. I’d love to hear any great advice!
