We used the Connected Math series (CMP). (I started the math notebooks later in the year, and we didn’t get through much of the curriculum, so most of the activities were with the Growing, Growing, Growing unit.)
Here was our exponent review before jumping into exponents. This was a simple foldable but provided a great visual reminder. I allowed the students to use whatever number and exponent they wanted (as long as it fit within the foldable). (Idea thanks to here).
Here are two more examples of when students cut and paste handouts from the curriculum really came in handy. Here they were drawing lines of symmetry and determining angles of rotation. This was so much more organized than doing it on handouts!
